How-To/Faq
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: USE A COMMERCIAL HEAT PRESS FOR ALL TRANSFERS AVAILABLE IN THIS STORE.
ALTHOUGH A CRICUT EASY PRESS OR IRON MAY BE POSSIBLE, SUCCESS IS NOT GUARANTEED!
To achieve optimal results, we suggest starting with a lower temperature and adjusting as needed. Due to variations in press temperatures, it's advisable to test different areas with a heat gun and practice with extra transfers to identify the ideal conditions.
Prior to applying the transfer, pre-press the shirt or material briefly to eliminate any moisture.
Position the transfer flat with the ink facing the material.
Peel the transfer film off the shirt only when it has completely cooled.
If the transfer does not adhere, reposition the transfer paper, apply additional pressure, and press for a few more seconds. Inadequate adherence is often a result of uneven heating, insufficient pressure, and/or insufficient pressing time.
DTF transfers are suitable for pressing onto various shirt materials, including cotton and polyester.
614Print Co. assumes no liability for errors made by operators or machines during the application of screen print, DTF, or sublimation transfers. We recommend purchasing extra transfers and conducting thorough practice sessions with your equipment, adjusting temperatures, pressure, and timings before proceeding with your final product.
